The role:
My client, an established FinTech, are seeking a Junior Support Engineer / Junior SRE to join their team.
You will be joining an SRE team to provide support for both endpoints and infrastructure.
The role offers a clear progression route to grow your skillset, particularly in the areas of Infrastructure, Automation, and Reliability Engineering.

This role requires presence in the office 1 day per week.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, provisioning, and support of Linux, Mac, and Windows devices
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Ensuring reliability of various internal tooling and Infrastructure
- Managing tech such as Ansible, Jamf, Intune, and other related endpoint areas
- IT purchasing and inventory of hardware
- Remediating simple tasks and repetitive issues via Automation and Scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Develop skillset to incorporate further SRE duties as time progresses

Skills required:
- Strong junior experience in cross-platform Desktop / Endpoint Engineering
- Able to troubleshoot across Linux, Mac, and Windows
- Experience around tools such as Jamf, Intune, and Ansible
- Comfortable with command line-based work
- Networking fundamentals
- Interest in developing into an SRE over time
