We are currently supporting a specialist client focused on electric vehicle powertrain and ancillary technology development who are looking for a graduate engineer to join the team as a Junior Systems Design Engineer. This role will play a key part in supporting all aspects of electric vehicle electronic system design and integration from initial requirements identification through to final calibration and validation. This is a permanent role based in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Systems Design Engineer:
- Support vehicle level system architecture and high, low voltage and communication systems design
- Assist in vehicle electrical systems integration design
- Contribute to safety analysis and design processes
- Work with senior engineers supporting test rig design and implementation
- Support application test, calibration and validation
Required Skills and Experience for the Junior Systems Design Engineer:
- Understanding of various systems and components in modern EV powertrains.
- Previous exposure to vehicle systems architecture design
- Ideally knowledgeable of systems design and analysis including CAN and LIN along with associated tools such as PEAK, Vector CANalyzer/CANoe
- Understanding of wiring loom layout and design
- Ability to log and analysis data
