At Tapes To Digital, we help families preserve their cherished memories by converting old media formats into digital files. As we continue to grow across the UK, we're looking for reliable, detail-oriented Remote Tech Specialists to join our team part-time.
This role is perfect if you're studying and need work that fits around lectures and assignments, or if you're at home with kids and want paid work you can pick up and put down between school runs, naps, and everything else on your plate. No commute, no fixed shifts — just work that fits your life.

What You'll Be Doing
- Digital Media Conversion: Use our provided equipment to convert VHS tapes, cassettes, photos, film reels, and other analog media into digital formats.
- Customer Support: Occasionally assist with local customer drop-offs and pickups.
- Flexible Work: Manage your own schedule around study, family, or other commitments.
- Work From Home: Operate from your home workspace using equipment supplied by us.
What We're Looking For
- Currently a university student, someone working from home in a hybrid/remote setup, or a stay-at-home parent/carer.
- Comfortable with technology and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Have a sufficient desk or workspace at home to accommodate our equipment.
- Must be legally allowed to be self-employed.
No prior professional experience required — just reliability, multi-tasking, and a good eye for detail.
