Junior Technical Architect

About Us:
We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy providing new bespoke solutions to solve our customers complex operational problems. As our business continues to grow, we are interested in speaking with a Junior Architect to join one of our live projects within our IdentityE2E team.
We work in a hybrid fashion so you can choose how often you work from the office or home. There is an expectation however, to meet customers on a regular basis (typically bi-weekly).
The Opportunity:
As a Junior Architect, you will be working within our IdentityE2E team and will work closely with our public sector customers to assist, influence and provide guidance to their architecture and modelling challenges. Working alongside our experienced Architects to specify and develop the correct approach to their problem spaces and assisting where modelling provides the appropriate level of benefit.
Other typical responsibilities include:
- Involvement in the design & delivery aspects of a solution, in particular system integration and business architecture.
- Working with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver business needs.
- Participating in workshops with developers, consultants and customers to elaborate problems, model end-to-end business processes or design solutions.
- Creation of data architecture to support solution development.
- Understanding a customer’s requirements and translating them into business language and solutions.
- Ensuring that the systems integration aspects of the delivery, including project requirements and scope definition, technical risk and effort are defined and executed.
- Keeping ahead of current technologies, tools, and practices.

We pride ourselves in providing many opportunities to develop, progress, and grow within the role and the wider company, you will receive full training & ongoing support in the full Architecture lifecycle, including Architecture tools, such as ArchiMate & Togaf.

We are passionate about technology and pride ourselves on keeping up with emerging technologies and delivering best practices so it is important that you enjoy learning and continuous improvement.
For our current requirement, we are looking for someone with:
- Some commercial architecture or consultancy experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or have a STEM-related subject with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AWS & a relevant certification
- Ability to drive client relationships and effective team outcomes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation.
- Ambitious, driven, and professional individual who demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment.
Due to the industries we work in, we require all our team to be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
