The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital part in the continued growth of a very reputable, growing MSP and service-led company that uses cutting edge modern technology. WestSpring are continuously growing our client base and due to this continued growth, a new role has been created to be a key part of the Technical Delivery function.
Working in our Bristol office and client sites, you’ll provide a mix of proactive and reactive technical support, helping clients get the best from their technology and stepping in when an issue needs an onsite presence.
You’ll work closely with our remote Technical Delivery and Project teams, support new client onboarding, and helping identify practical ways to improve each client’s IT experience.
This role would suit someone with strong technical foundations who enjoys solving problems, building trusted client relationships, and learning from an experienced team. Flexibility & adaptability, a positive, can-do attitude, and a genuine desire to get things done are essential to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
Client Relationships & Support
- Build great relationships with key client contacts in order to understand their business and provide a best-in-class client experience
- Cultivate and practise a client-focused ethos across all technical delivery functions
- Ensure post visit communications to the client are completed in a timely fashion, and to a high quality
- Identify opportunities to improve the client’s infrastructure
- Identify opportunities to improve client experience
- Identify and uncover new & renewal opportunities, including additional products & services, to enhance the clients IT experience
Team Support
- Act as a point of escalation for the Technical Delivery team for tickets which require on site presence.
- Complete reactive on-site activities, working with urgency when required and ensuring issues are resolved to client satisfaction
- Complete pro-active checks in line with best practice standards, ensuring all outcomes are documented and any resulting actions or next steps are captured and actioned accordingly

Process & Structure
- Split of time and focus between on-site responsibilities and working within the service desk providing remote support
- Support in the onboarding of new clients
- Implement new solutions for the client
- Assist the Project team with the delivery of infrastructure projects. Follow project plans and ensure all applicable documentation and handover activities are completed
- Ownership and assistance in creating key documentation and client policies, ensuring client’s technical documentation is kept up to date
Other Tasks/Duties
- Keep up to date on the latest technologies and services. Proactively identify learning and training opportunities
- Follow all WestSpring policies and best practices – including all company processes, guidelines and quality procedures.
- Comply with WestSpring Health and Safety policy whilst onsite and at any Client or Supplier premises
- Comply with WestSpring’s policies, systems and processes with regards to data protection
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned by your Line Manager
Person Specification
- Relevant experience working in a comparable role or within an inhouse team
- Office 365, SharePoint, Intune, windows server knowledge
- Proactive approach, with excellent troubleshooting skills, and an ability to adapt to our Clients needs
- Well organised, punctual & good attention to detail
- Professional, friendly and have an ability to perform well under pressure.

- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- Able to work as part of a team and individually
- Full driving licence
