Job Title: Systems Support Engineer (3-Month Rolling Contract)

Location: On site
Role Type: 3-Month Contract (Rolling)

Keep Live Services Running. Empower Senior Tech Teams to Build.

Are you a Junior Systems Engineer or SysAdmin looking to make an immediate impact? We are seeking a proactive Systems Support Engineer to join our team for a 3-month rolling contract.

In this role, you will act as the first line of defense for our live technology estate during a period of peak demand. Working alongside our 9-person Technology team and our managed service partner (Intergence), you’ll deliver rapid 1st/2nd line support—shielding our senior engineers from everyday support noise so they can focus on high-value architecture, data, and strategic projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Protect Live Services: Provide responsive 1st and 2nd line support to keep live systems and end-users running smoothly during peak periods.
  • Triage & Escalate: Efficiently manage, troubleshoot, and resolve incoming tickets while correctly routing complex issues to ensure critical projects stay on track.
  • Collaborate Seamlessly: Partner closely with our internal 9-person IT team and Intergence's wider MSP delivery framework.
  • Follow & Refine SOPs: Work autonomously in a remote setup, adhering to documented processes and maintaining high service standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
