Junior Technology Business Analyst
Location: London, hybrid working with three days per week in the office
Contract: Initial two to three weeks, continuing on a rolling basis
Day Rate: £200-£210 per day, inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
Zachary Daniels is supporting an established international retailer in the appointment of an immediately available Junior Technology Business Analyst.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their Business Analysis career who enjoys working across technology, business processes, and project delivery. You'll join a fast-paced environment, supporting a range of stakeholders across retail, ecommerce, and corporate functions.
The Role
As Junior Technology Business Analyst, you will act as a link between the technology team and wider business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing initial triage support for system issues and escalating more complex problems
- Gathering and documenting clear business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining "as-is" and "to-be" business process documentation
- Executing QA test plans for system enhancements and wider technology projects
- Coordinating project activities across business, technical, and IT teams
- Supporting task prioritisation and ensuring key actions remain on track
- Working across multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Undertaking occasional UK travel when required

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Junior Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Business Systems, or similar technology-focused position
- Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
- Exposure to QA testing, UAT, or system enhancement projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and project coordination skills
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Immediate or short-notice availability

Experience within retail, fashion, ecommerce, or wholesale would be particularly beneficial. Exposure to systems such as ERP, PIM, PLM, POS, planning, allocation, or supply chain platforms would also be advantageous, but experience across every area is not required.
