Role Definition

Assist the tooling engineer with PPM on tools and equipment

  • Carry out morning tests on the tooling inside Retail to confirm it is ready for production
  • Assist with other tasks around the Engineering department as required

To ensure all tooling and services are carried out, utilising the company's chosen Pre Planned Maintenance system

  • Carrying out prestart checks and tests on the equipment prior to lines starting
  • Comply with site H&S and technical requirements around food safety

Assist with other tasks around the engineering department as required

  • Assist (as required) with breakdowns to tooling including out of hours repair
  • Liaise/communicate with colleagues and departments and attend meetings where required
  • Ensure our products meet our customer requirements
  • Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your line manager

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • The candidate will enjoy challenging, problem-solving roles and be ideally suited to a fast-paced environment
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task

Hours of Work

  • 6am - 2.30pm weekdays
