Base Salary: £3,000+ per month

Are you passionate about tourism, travel, data, and discovering insights that help businesses make better decisions? We’re looking for a Junior Tourism Data Analyst to join our growing team and support data-driven decision-making across travel and tourism projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their analytics career who enjoys working with numbers, researching travel trends, analysing customer behaviour, and turning data into clear and useful insights. You’ll work with tourism, customer, marketing, sales, and operational data while collaborating with teams across the business in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organise, clean, and analyse tourism and travel-related data from internal and external sources.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, booking patterns, destination demand, travel preferences, and purchasing trends.
  • Support reporting on bookings, revenue, enquiries, customer engagement, conversion rates, and travel performance.
  • Research tourism market trends, destination performance, seasonal demand, competitor activity, and emerging travel behaviours.
  • Prepare regular dashboards, reports, charts, and presentations for internal teams and management.
  • Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and potential issues within tourism and customer data.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities using historical and current travel data.
  • Work with marketing teams to analyse campaign performance, website traffic, social engagement, leads, and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor performance across destinations, travel products, packages, tours, and customer segments.
  • Assist with analysing pricing, promotions, occupancy, booking volumes, and seasonal travel demand.
  • Maintain accurate datasets and ensure reports are consistent, reliable, and up to date.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to identify missing, duplicated, or inconsistent information.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear summaries and practical recommendations.
  • Support senior analysts and managers with ad-hoc data analysis and research projects.
  • Stay informed about developments in tourism, travel technology, data analytics, and consumer behaviour.

🌍 Tourism & Market Analysis

  • Analyse demand for domestic and international destinations.
  • Track changes in traveller preferences, booking windows, trip duration, spending behaviour, and travel motivations.
  • Research destination popularity and performance across different customer segments.
  • Compare tourism performance across markets, destinations, seasons, and travel products.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, packages, and market positioning.
  • Support research into emerging tourism trends such as sustainable travel, experiential tourism, wellness travel, family travel, and digital travel services.
  • Help identify opportunities for new destinations, products, campaigns, or customer experiences.
  • Contribute to market research projects that support tourism strategy and business development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
