Location: Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, NG17 2JY
Position: Permanent – Full-Time
Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday–Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am–4:00pm
Salary: circa £25,000 per annum, dependent on age and experience

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Celebrity Motion Furniture as a Junior / Trainee Administrator.
This role would be ideal for a school or college leaver, or someone at the beginning of their administrative career, who is organised, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
You’ll provide administrative support across the business, working closely with our Sales, Customer Service and Marketing teams. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience within a busy office environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing incoming customer orders and carrying out general data entry.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, assisting with general sales and customer enquiries, and taking accurate messages.
  • Providing administrative support to the Customer Service and Marketing departments when required.
  • Maintaining and updating company contact lists and databases.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and courier deliveries.
  • General office administration, including filing, printing and document preparation.
  • Assisting with other administrative duties as required.

  • High level GCSEs (or equivalent), particularly English and Maths.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and polite telephone manner.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous office or administrative experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within a friendly and established business.
