Junior Travel Project Analyst
Surrey — Hybrid | Full Time

Junior Travel Project Analyst job in Surrey within the travel industry, offering an excellent salary. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a graduate with one to two years’ tour operator experience who wants to develop skills in project delivery, business analysis, and travel technology.
About the Role
You will help turn day-to-day travel knowledge into practical improvements, working with colleagues to understand how tasks are completed, check that systems work as expected, and keep booking information accurate.
- Work with colleagues to understand their everyday tasks and document clear instructions for completing them
- Help record what teams need from their booking systems and track questions, changes, and outstanding actions
- Help prepare and carry out system tests using realistic holiday booking scenarios
- Record problems clearly, share them with the appropriate colleagues, and check fixes have worked
- Compare booking information across systems, checking details, and investigating discrepancies
- Support the checking and preparation of customer, product, and booking data
- Help colleagues with everyday system queries, recording issues and escalating those that need specialist support
- Create useful guides and support information, and keep project records and progress trackers up to date
Experience Required
- A degree in a relevant subject, such as travel and tourism, business management, or information systems
- Around one to two years’ experience working within a tour operator
- Practical understanding of holiday products, flights, and ancillary services, and how they come together in a customer’s booking
- Experience using a travel booking or reservations system to create, amend, or manage bookings
- Experience handling booking information and maintaining accurate customer, product, or operational records
- Strong attention to detail, with a methodical approach to checking information and identifying discrepancies
- Confidence using Excel to organise, compare, and check information, with a willingness to develop skills in lookups, pivot tables, and data validation
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain a query or problem accurately
- Good organisational skills, an inquisitive approach, and enthusiasm for learning about systems and business improvement
