I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for in you
We’re looking for someone early in their UI/UX career, ideally with 1–2 years’ experience, who’s curious, creative and excited to learn, develop and make an impact at Huel. You’ll also have:
- Some experience in UI/UX design and a portfolio you’re proud of - whether that’s from a role, internship or personal projects.
- A great eye for clean, user-centred design and a genuine curiosity for how digital products work (and how they could work better!).
- Familiarity with tools like Figma and, most importantly, an eagerness to keep learning and developing your skills.
- Comfortable receiving feedback, trying new things and iterating quickly to make your work even better.
- A brilliant communicator and team player who enjoys collaborating with others to bring ideas to life.
- Bonus points if you’ve had any exposure to e-commerce, conversion or performance-driven design.
And as always, we’re on the lookout for new Hueligans who love a fast-paced environment and are always striving to be their best. We want people who aren’t afraid to think differently and push boundaries. We celebrate what makes each of us unique and we actively bring together Hueligans from all walks of life. Because whilst we share the same 7 values, it’s our differences that power our thinking, challenge our ideas, and help us build better products for a global community.
