We’re looking for an ambitious, organised and creative Junior Video Editor to join us remotely on a part-time basis.

de Brand Image Studio (DBI) is a boutique creative and digital agency working with ambitious brands to build stronger identities, create content people want to engage with, and turn ideas into meaningful growth. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to gain real agency experience, build their portfolio and grow alongside a young, ambitious business.

We’re looking for someone who has a good eye, notices the small things and genuinely wants to understand what makes a piece of content work.

You don’t need to know everything. We care more about how you think, your willingness to learn and whether you can see the difference between an edit that is simply finished and one that actually tells a story.

What you'll be doing:

  • Editing short-form content for social media and digital campaigns
  • Creating shot lists based on creative briefs and content concepts
  • Reviewing raw footage and identifying the strongest shots and moments
  • Structuring footage into a clear and engaging story
  • Making decisions around pacing, cuts, music, sound and visual flow
  • Adding captions, graphics, transitions and other elements where they add value
  • Creating different cuts and formats for different platforms
  • Working closely with our content and creative team
  • Taking feedback and using it to improve your edits
  • Keeping footage, project files and final exports organised

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for:

You have an eye for detail and care about how things look and feel.

  • You’re curious about storytelling and want to understand why a certain shot, cut or sequence works better than another.
  • You might already have experience editing videos, or you might be self-taught and building your portfolio. Either is fine.

What matters to us is that you:

  • Notice details others might miss
  • Have a good instinct for pacing and visual flow
  • Understand that editing is about storytelling, not just transitions and effects
  • Are interested in learning and improving
  • Can take direction without needing to be micromanaged
  • Are organised and reliable
  • Care about producing work you're proud of
  • Keep up with social-first content and understand what makes people stop scrolling

The kind of person we want:

You might be the person who watches a video and thinks:

  • Why did they cut it there?
  • Or notices that the music is slightly off, a shot lasts too long, or the opening could be stronger.

That kind of thinking is what we're looking for.

You don't need a perfect portfolio or years of experience. Show us that you have an eye, that you're curious and that you're willing to get better every single day.

TO APPLY:

Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile, along with your portfolio or examples of your editing work.

We’d also like you to tell us briefly what makes a good video edit in your opinion.

We’re interested in how you think, not just what software you know how to use.

We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully welcoming you to the team.
