The Company

Our client manages some of the world’s most successful kids’ properties, representing more than 150 titles and partnering with leading broadcasters and platforms worldwide.

THE ROLE

As a Junior Video Editor, you will play a key role in producing, repackaging and managing digital content for a range of children’s brands. Working closely with digital, production and brand teams, you will create high-quality video assets, optimize content for YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging video content by editing short- and long-form assets for multiple children’s and family entertainment brands
  • Craft SEO-focused YouTube metadata including titles, descriptions and tags
  • Design eye-catching thumbnails and visual assets that drive strong click-through rates
  • Review and quality-check all edits, metadata and thumbnails before publication
  • Prepare and schedule content across several YouTube channels and meet weekly deadlines
  • Keep content planning documents and shared spreadsheets updated
  • Produce Shorts, clips and thematic content for multiple languages and channels
  • Create cloud-based screener files from programme masters and prepare assets for delivery
  • Manage video files and metadata through internal asset management systems, following established workflows throughout the production process.

THE PERSON

You should be a creative, detail-driven video editor with experience producing digital content for YouTube, social media or CMS-based platforms. It is important you are confident working on both short and long-form edits and understand how digital audiences engage with children’s content.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Previous experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop is required, with additional motion graphics or Adobe Suite experience advantageous. Familiarity with digital asset management systems and collaborative planning tools will also be beneficial.
