About The Content Emporium

The Content Emporium is a fast-growing creative content agency based in Bristol. We create bold, audience-led content for some of the UK’s biggest brands, working across social media, websites, CRM and email, design, SEO, video and more.

We’re a large, collaborative team of strategists, writers, editors, designers, developers, account managers, social specialists and CRM experts – all working together to create content that gets noticed and gets results.

We work at serious scale, but we’re not a traditional agency. We’re practical, collaborative, ambitious and unpretentious, and we care about making genuinely good work.

Why we're hiring

Our Website & CRM team is growing, and we’re looking for a brilliant junior writer to join us.

This is an entry-level role for someone who loves writing, has excellent attention to detail and wants to build a career in digital content.

You’ll work across websites and email/CRM, helping us create everything from engaging website articles and landing pages to email campaigns, subject lines, promotional copy and calls to action.

You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for someone with strong writing instincts, curiosity and a willingness to learn the technical and strategic side of digital content.

The role

As our Junior Website & CRM Copywriter, you’ll be part of the team responsible for keeping our clients’ websites and email communications fresh, accurate, engaging and effective.

You’ll write and edit content to briefs, learn how different digital channels work, and develop an understanding of how audience insight, SEO, data and commercial objectives should shape the words we use.

This is a hands-on role. As well as writing, you’ll learn how content is uploaded and managed within websites and email platforms, help keep content plans and workflows moving, and work closely with colleagues across CRM, web, account management, design and SEO.

You'll be supported by more experienced members of the team, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills, take ownership of your work and progress as a digital copywriter.

What you'll be doing

Website content

  • Writing engaging, accurate website copy including articles, news stories, landing pages, promotional content, listings and evergreen pages.
  • Editing and proofreading existing website content.
  • Learning to write with SEO principles in mind, including understanding keywords, search intent, headings, metadata and internal linking.
  • Uploading and updating content using content management systems.
  • Sourcing and selecting appropriate imagery to accompany content.
  • Checking published pages to make sure content is accurate, correctly formatted and working as expected.
  • Adapting your writing to different brands, audiences and tones of voice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Some experience of writing content – this could come from a first job, internship, placement, freelance work, university, a personal project or similar.
  • An understanding that writing for a website or email is different from academic or long-form writing.
  • Good research skills and an instinct for checking facts rather than making assumptions.
  • Confidence using everyday digital tools and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage several pieces of work at once.
  • An interest in websites, email marketing, digital content and how brands communicate with their audiences.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to take feedback.
  • Curiosity about why some content performs better than others.
