We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is central to a major project with an infrastructure consultancy in the United Kingdom, where we are helping leadership teams organize their internal coordination and decision-making processes. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the digital tools that make this coordination possible, turning complex management frameworks into clear, accessible web interfaces.
About the Role
At Olive Tree, we believe that the tools used to manage a business should never be a source of frustration. In this position, you will support our advisory practice by developing internal sites and small-scale web applications that hold the vital information for our clients. Your work ensures that even the most complex project data is easy to read and simple to navigate. Since this is an entry-level role, you will receive guidance on how to translate consulting requirements into technical reality. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to a high-stakes infrastructure engagement from your own workspace while maintaining a regular, professional schedule.
What You Will Do
- Write clean and maintainable code for internal project sites and documentation hubs.
- Convert structural diagrams and management notes into structured, responsive web pages.
- Maintain and update site content to ensure that the client always has access to the most recent information.
- Test layouts and interactive elements across different browsers to guarantee a consistent experience.
- Work with our advisors to understand how a leadership team needs to interact with data.
- Organize and document code within our repositories to keep our digital environment tidy.
- Suggest stable and simple technical solutions for displaying project timelines and ownership records.
- Troubleshoot minor bugs or formatting issues as they arise in our internal tools.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Olive Tree Consulting
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
