The Role
We are partnering with an ambitious digital agency dedicated to crafting exceptional online experiences for a diverse client base, fostering innovation, and driving technological advancement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, customising, and maintaining bespoke WordPress themes and plugins.
- Translate design wireframes into clean, responsive, cross-browser compatible web pages.
- Develop skills in writing clean, scalable code using HTML, SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP.
- Learn to write and optimize SQL queries for database performance and reliability.
- Gain hands-on exposure to deployment processes, AWS cloud platforms, and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, squash bugs, and implement clean fixes across client sites.
- Stay curious about emerging web technologies, frameworks, and modern developer tooling.

What You'll Need
- Commercial experience, ideally within an agency, software house, or in-house development team.
- Solid experience customising, building, or maintaining WordPress sites (themes/plugins).
- Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Practical understanding of database interactions and basic query writing (MySQL/SQL).
- Comfortable using IDEs like Visual Studio Code, Git/version control, and local dev environments.
- A genuine passion for web technology and a drive to expand your skill set toward Full Stack development.
