About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Time Writer, Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting audio and video recordings into high-quality written documents with precision and accuracy. Your work will play a key role in delivering the exacting standards our clients expect.

Our Writers provide transcripts for a variety of high-profile, technical, and confidential meetings and events, including:

  • Corporate communications & investor relations events
  • Employee relations meetings
  • Medical and pharmaceutical communication forums
  • Governance meetings (board, management and committee meetings)
  • Legal proceedings and formal investigations
  • Regulatory meetings and public consultations
  • Roundtable discussions and industry seminars

LOCATION: Borough Office, client offices throughout the UK and beyond. Remote working flexibility is available where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe spoken content from audio and video recordings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Format transcripts according to company guidelines and quality standards.
  • Edit and proofread transcripts for clarity, grammar, and style.
  • Manage your workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Project Management, and Editorial teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (mandatory)
  • Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Previous transcription experience preferred (will be assessed through a writing test).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable internet connection (a corporate laptop will be provided).
