About the Role

To facilitate client bookings and ensure the appropriate interpreter is assigned to client assignments. A vital part of the role is supporting our clients by managing interpreting and translation requests efficiently while delivering the highest standard of service. Working closely with clients, linguists, and internal teams, you will coordinate bookings, manage service delivery, resolve operational challenges, and maintain strong client relationships. Fluency in Welsh and English is essential to effectively support Welsh-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking interpreters on to jobs
  • Calling clients – showing great telephone etiquette and customer care
  • Ensuring an interpreter is present for every booking
  • Build rapport with clients and interpreters
  • Prioritising tasks – showing organisation and flexibility
  • Quickly and efficiently managing incoming and outgoing calls and emails

Skills & Experience:

  • Welsh speaker with the ability to communicate confidently in both Welsh and English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take instruction and carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good timekeeping
