Assistant Counter Manager

Luneia Brands | Oxford Street

Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

About Luneia Brands

Luneia Brands is bringing some of the most exciting and fast-growing Korean beauty brands to the UK luxury retail market.

We are building a portfolio of innovative, culturally relevant beauty brands that are shaping what’s next in beauty. From breakthrough products to emerging trends, our ambition is to connect customers with the brands they will be talking about next.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Assistant Counter Manager who is commercially driven, culturally connected and passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

K-beauty is rapidly expanding – and here to stay! We are looking for a full-time Assistant Counter Manager to join the team who is passionate, energetic, and ready to take the next step in their retail career.

Working closely with the Counter Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of the counter – from delivering ambitious sales and KPI targets to inspiring the team and creating an unforgettable customer experience.

You’ll be someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You’ll spot opportunities, bring energy to the counter and help turn the latest K-beauty trends, products and social moments into exciting commercial opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive performance: Support the Counter Manager in delivering sales, KPIs and productivity targets, always looking for ways to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Lead by example: Motivate and support the team on the shop floor, helping colleagues build their confidence, product knowledge and K-beauty expertise.
  • Create exceptional experiences: Build genuine customer relationships and deliver personalised, engaging consultations that make K-beauty feel exciting and accessible.
  • Be a K-beauty expert: Stay curious about Korean beauty culture, ingredients, innovation, hero products and the trends shaping the industry.
  • Turn trends into sales: Understand the influence of TikTok, creators and social culture on beauty discovery, and use this knowledge to create engaging product stories and conversations.
  • Take ownership: Spot opportunities, solve problems and proactively look for ways to improve the customer experience and counter performance.
  • Share insight: Feed back customer, competitor and market trends to the wider Luneia team.
  • Be a team player: Identify business needs to the Counter Manager, go above and beyond to support with key priorities or responsibilities, and lead the wider team in line manager’s absence when needed.
  • Set the standard: Help maintain exceptional standards across service, presentation, stock and operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
