Oncology Key Account Manager – Part-Time
Location: Central England | Field-Based
Working Pattern: 50–60% FTE | 3–4 days per week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + bonus and benefits
Contract: Permanent
We are partnering with an established specialist pharmaceutical company to recruit an experienced Oncology Key Account Manager into its UK Oncology team. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing commercial organisation in a part-time capacity, supporting an important product lifecycle milestone and strengthening engagement across priority NHS oncology accounts in Central England.
The Opportunity
As Oncology Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a defined portfolio of strategic NHS accounts, developing account plans and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the oncology pathway.
You will work closely with colleagues across Medical, Market Access and Commercial functions to identify opportunities, understand local healthcare priorities and develop account-specific strategies that deliver meaningful customer value and sustainable business growth.
The role offers a high degree of autonomy, with the opportunity to make a tangible impact across a specialist oncology portfolio while maintaining a flexible 50–60% working pattern.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across priority NHS oncology centres.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, managers and other relevant NHS stakeholders.
- Understand complex account environments, patient pathways and local healthcare priorities to identify opportunities for improved service delivery.
- Use customer, market and account insights to prioritise activity and maximise account performance.
- Influence stakeholders across complex NHS decision-making environments.
- Work collaboratively with Medical, Market Access and wider Commercial colleagues to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Monitor account performance and adapt strategies based on evolving customer and market needs.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing oncology team.
About You
We are ideally looking for an experienced pharmaceutical Key Account Manager with:
- 5+ years' pharmaceutical Key Account Management experience, ideally within oncology, specialist care or secondary care.
- A strong understanding of the NHS and experience navigating complex stakeholder and decision-making environments.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing strategic account plans.
- A track record of influencing multiple NHS stakeholders and delivering commercial outcomes.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to turn account insights into actionable strategies.
- ABPI qualification or equivalent.
- A degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
