Key Account Director
London | Hybrid £90,000 Basic + Double OTE + Benefits
About the Company
Our client is a highly respected Managed Service Provider specialising in network infrastructure, connectivity and digital transformation programmes built around Cisco technologies. With long-standing relationships across the UK public sector, they deliver complex networking solutions that help organisations modernise, secure and optimise their environments. Due to continued growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts, they are seeking an experienced Key Account Director to take ownership of a number of established public sector customers across Southern England.
The Opportunity
This is not a new business or "new logo" acquisition role. You will inherit a portfolio of key public sector accounts and be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing wallet share and identifying new opportunities within existing customers. Working closely with multiple stakeholders, from IT leadership through to C-level and procurement teams, you will build trusted relationships and position the business as a strategic transformation partner. This role is ideal for an experienced account director who excels at account expansion, stakeholder management and navigating complex public sector environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
