Key Account Director
A major global manufacturer of precision products to the aerospace & defense sectors has a new vacancy for a Key Account Director. You will be the senior commercial interface for a major aerospace key account, responsible for developing and executing the account strategy, strengthening executive relationships and identifying new opportunities. Candidates are sought with proven commercial experience gained in the Aerospace sector.
The Role
- Develop and strengthen key account relationships with existing accounts and identifying emerging revenue opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships, retention and long-term commercial value.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to optimise commercial returns and customer service, ensuring customer needs are effectively translated into business priorities and delivered through the wider organisation.
- Develop, communicate, and implement effective sales growth strategies, processes, and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure key accounts are visited regularly and that structured senior-level business reviews are conducted to strengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide accurate and timely input into the sales forecasting process on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

- Proven sales and commercial experience within the Aerospace sector.
- Extensive experience in executive leadership and the strategic management of global OEM accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen and a broad understanding of sound business practices within complex, global organisations.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior management on critical sales, commercial, and strategic business decisions.
- Demonstrated strategic, analytical, conceptual, and innovative thinking, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into effective solutions.
