Role: Operational Key Account Manager

Location: Flexible, Ireland (Baldonnell/Santry /Cork /Shannon)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30

Are you passionate about developing long-term partnerships and delivering innovative logistics solutions? We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Contract Logistics team in Ireland. In this role, you’ll be the central point of contact for key clients, driving strategic customer engagement, business growth, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate across multiple departments to ensure seamless service delivery, foster customer satisfaction, and identify new opportunities for improvement and expansion.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring a strong “Voice of the Customer” approach.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong multi-level relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and lead the development and negotiation process.
  • Present innovative, sustainable, and data-driven logistics solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Lead customer meetings, including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Oversee contract reviews, pricing discussions, and change requests to ensure commercial and operational alignment.
  • Coordinate tender management and continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, customer satisfaction, and project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate customer data across platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Globecon, and NPS.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the Commercial Director to deliver on growth and retention goals.

About You

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management, key account management, or cross-product sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, precise, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
