Role Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will hold a defined book of brand and agency accounts and be responsible for growing what each one spends with us year over year.
Our tech influencers produce a known, forward-looking slate of content — launch coverage, review cycles, event coverage, recurring series — and your edge is knowing that calendar cold and getting in front of your accounts before they brief anyone. You'll bring them the opportunity, framed against their product cycle and their media calendar, rather than waiting for an RFP to land in the inbox.
You'll work closely with the talent side of the business, and you'll know our creators well — their audiences, formats, rates, and what they will and won't do. But you're measured on the accounts.
This is a commercial role with a relationship core. You will pitch, negotiate, close, and deliver — and you'll be measured on both the revenue you generate and the health of the creator relationships you hold.
What you'll do
1. Own and grow a book of accounts
- Take ownership of a portfolio of brand and agency accounts and act as their single senior point of contact at TopTechTubers
- Map each account properly: brand marketing, product marketing, comms, and their agency planners and buyers — know who holds the budget and who influences it
- Convert one-off activations into repeat business, multi-creator campaigns, and where possible annual or retained arrangements
- Grow share of wallet — be the first call when a budget is being allocated, not the third quote

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
2. Pitch proactively from the content calendar
- Maintain a working command of the upcoming roster content slate and identify which moments are commercially relevant to which accounts
- Build and send proactive, tailored opportunity pitches — the right creator, the right moment, the right commercial framing — well ahead of the client's planning cycle
- Time outreach to your accounts' product launch calendars, event schedules, and budget cycles rather than to ours
- Package thematic and multi-creator opportunities that a client wouldn't have thought to ask for
3. Negotiate and close
- Run deals end to end: fee, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, timelines, and payment terms
- Prepare proposals, media plans, rate cards, contracts and invoices
- Hold the line on rates and protect margin — you're accountable for both logged deal value and amount kept
- Hit and exceed quarterly and annual account revenue targets
4. Land campaigns properly, because delivery is retention
- Translate briefs into clear creator deliverables, and work with the talent team to secure the right roster fit
- Manage the campaign timeline from brief to live: drafts, approvals, revisions, go-live
- Build post-campaign reporting that proves value and sets up the next conversation before the current one has closed

5. Represent us in the market
- Attend key industry and tech events (IFA, CES, MWC and similar) to meet your accounts face to face, open new ones, and support live activations
- Track competitor activity, emerging platforms, and shifting rate benchmarks, and share what you learn internally
Qualifications
Essential
- 1–3+ years owning and growing client accounts — influencer marketing, brand partnerships, media sales, or agency account management
- A track record of proactive outbound: you've grown accounts by bringing ideas, not by responding to briefs
- Demonstrable deal-closing history with numbers you can speak to, including negotiating rates and terms directly
- Strong commercial instincts — you can read when to push and when to invest in the relationship
- Excellent written communication; you can write a cold pitch, a media plan, and a difficult email equally well
- Highly organised across many parallel accounts and deadlines without dropping detail
- Confident with CRM and spreadsheet tooling, and disciplined about keeping records accurate
Nice to have
- Experience specifically with US-base agencies and brands
- Existing relationships with brand or agency decision-makers in tech, consumer electronics, or gaming
- Genuine interest in consumer tech and fluency with the YouTube tech creator landscape
- Experience selling into agency planning and buying teams as well as direct to brand
- Experience with Monday.com, Claude, Gmail, and Google Workspace
