Key Account Manager

Food Service - End Users

Field based / Midlands

Up to £60k + package

A highly successful food manufacturer are looking to add new talent to their foodservice end user commercial team.

This is a commercially focused position combining new business development with the growth and management of existing accounts including Pubs, Hotels, Restaurants and more.

A major part of your role will be identifying and winning new multi-site end-user customers. You will also take responsibility for an established portfolio of end-user groups and wholesale partners, ensuring strong demand is created throughout the supply chain.

  • Researching and targeting prospective multi-site customers across the relevant foodservice channels.
  • Opening new accounts and building a sustainable pipeline of commercial opportunities.
  • Managing and developing existing relationships with end-user groups and wholesale partners.
  • Gaining a detailed understanding of customers’ businesses, challenges and future plans.
  • Using market knowledge and customer insight to recommend commercially relevant solutions.
  • Working with Product Management and NPD to create tailored product and development proposals.
  • Building influential relationships with chefs, food and beverage managers, owners, purchasing contacts and route-to-market wholesalers.
  • Coordinating activity between end-user customers and wholesalers to support an effective push-and-pull sales model.
  • Creating and implementing account plans that deliver profitable growth.
  • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales, margin and account-development targets.
