Key Account Manager – Premium Drinks Wholesaler – London – Up to £60k plus bonus and travel
My client is one of the UK’s leading premium drinks wholesaler based in London, specializing in the distribution of high-quality spirits, wines, and craft beverages. Their portfolio includes some of the most prestigious and sought-after brands in the industry.
As they continue to expand their market presence, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team. The Business Development Manager will be all about new business & account management across the Prestige sector in London.
We are looking for candidates with a strong prestige network (hotels and members clubs) along with a thirst for progression and development. Big business, big commission.
The Key Account Manager responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends within the premium drinks sector.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive sales growth and expand market share.
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the hospitality, retail, and corporate sectors.
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product portfolio.
- Provide clients with expert advice on product selection and pairing, promoting our brands' unique qualities and heritage.
- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate on promotional activities, events, and product launches.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to inform business decisions and strategies.

The ideal Key Account Manager Candidate:
- Experience working within sales and account management across the Drinks On Trade sector in London, with a proven track record in winning new business.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of negotiations, budgets, cost controls, and P&L management.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and secure prestige accounts.
- In-depth understanding of the premium drinks market, including key trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
