Key Account Manager - Wales and Birmingham down to Devon/Cornwall

What will you be doing in this role?
As our Key Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of large regional contractor accounts within the trade market. Your focus will be on developing long-term, sustainable partnerships that deliver profitable growth while ensuring excellent customer service.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and strategically develop nominated key regional contractor accounts predominantly in the house building industry
- Identify and convert new opportunities using industry tools and recording all activity in CRM
- Negotiate trading agreements and pricing strategies that deliver results
- Work closely with regional teams and colleagues across the Trade division to achieve commercial objectives
- Provide accurate forecasting and ensure prompt payment of accounts

- Proven track record in sales and account management (B2B)
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Confident negotiator with strong influencing abilities
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable using CRM tools
