Key Account Partner – Specialist Care

Territory: Northwest England & Yorkshire

Pharmaceutical Industry | Specialist / Secondary Care

I am partnering with an innovative, international pharmaceutical company that is looking to appoint an experienced Key Account Partner to cover Northwest England and Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialised commercial team, taking ownership of key NHS accounts across the region and developing long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.

Rather than a traditional high-volume sales position, this role requires a strategic, account-led approach, understanding individual NHS Trusts, identifying opportunities within patient pathways and developing tailored account plans that deliver value for customers, patients and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across priority NHS Trusts throughout Northwest England and Yorkshire.
  • Build strong relationships with specialist clinicians, pharmacists, commissioners and other key NHS stakeholders.
  • Understand local patient pathways, account dynamics and barriers to treatment access.
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways and increase appropriate access to treatment.
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access and other internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of territory performance, account development and commercial objectives.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with customers rather than focusing solely on transactional sales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
