KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - Exhibitions
£45k basic + Uncapped Commission
Greater London 3 days office
My client is a global leader within the B2B Exhibition space, through expansion an exciting role has arisen for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their award-winning portfolio.
This role is ideal for an experienced Account Manager/Key Account Manager looking for a more commercially focused sales position with significant earning potential. You will benefit from one of the strongest commission structures in the industry, extensive training and development opportunities, and a clear progression pathway.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify, research, and engage prospective exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to win new business across the portfolio.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Generate revenue through exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising, and digital opportunities.
- Consistently exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

Account Management & Client Retention
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients.
- Maximise customer retention and drive year-on-year rebook revenue.
- Build strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Event & Industry Engagement
- Attend industry events, competitor exhibitions, and client meetings both in the UK and internationally.
- Represent the client as a trusted industry partner and ambassador.
- Develop a strong understanding of industry trends, market developments, and customer needs.

Key Experience Required
- 3-4+ years' experience in sales, account management/key account management, recruitment agency, or business development role. Experience within the exhibitions, events, conferences, or media sectors is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong new business development skills with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
- Experience managing client accounts and building long-term commercial relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment with clear KPIs.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship, advertising, or media solutions.
- International sales or account management experience.
- Experience managing key accounts and complex sales cycles.
