Can you sell reliability, not just product?
If you're a technical sales professional who's tired of order-taking and wants to actually own a territory - build it, defend it, grow it - this is worth ten minutes of your time.
Our client is a global leader in mechanical seals and rotating equipment reliability solutions, trusted by industrial giants to keep their critical assets running. They're looking for a Key Account Manager to take charge of an established Southeast patch - and then push it further than it's ever been.
The Challenge
This isn't a maintenance job. You'll be expected to:
- Defend and grow an existing regional customer base - protecting revenue while actively hunting for more (80%)
- Open new doors. Identify, target, and convert brand-new business and accounts across the region (20%)
- Hit budget, then beat it. Real numbers, real accountability, real reward for real performance
- Win market share from entrenched competitors - and make this company the preferred name in the region
- Get technical. Support customers on product selection and troubleshooting, and help them lift their MTBF (mean time between failures)
- Work autonomously. No hand-holding - you'll manage your own diary, your own pipeline, your own results (with a CRM to keep you honest)
- Travel. This region is yours to cover, overnight stays included when the job demands it

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
