Key Account Manager – E-commerce

Purpose of the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and digitally savvy individual to support the continued growth of GPN's Amazon UK business.

The Amazon eCommerce Key Account Manager will play a key role in delivering sales, profit and market share growth across Amazon UK. Working closely with the Amazon Senior Account Manager, internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners, the successful candidate will help execute the Joint Business Plan, optimise commercial performance, enhance the digital shelf and support best-in-class retail media activation.

The role offers significant exposure to one of GPN's most strategically important customers while providing development opportunities across commercial account management, eCommerce, digital marketing and category leadership.

This is a permanent, full-time role reporting into the E-Commerce Controller.

Responsibilities

Commercial Account Management

  • Support the delivery of sales, profit and market share growth targets across Amazon UK.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Amazon contacts through regular engagement and day-to-day account management.
  • Support annual trading negotiations and execution of agreed commercial plans.
  • Identify and execute incremental growth opportunities through customer, category and market insights.
  • Work closely with Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Finance teams to ensure profitable growth.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of promotional activity across Amazon events and seasonal campaigns including Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Week.
  • Evaluate promotional performance and recommend future optimisation opportunities.
  • Support the development of promotional investment plans aligned to sales and profitability objectives.

Amazon Content & Digital Shelf

  • Monitor and optimise product detail pages (PDPs) to maximise conversion and customer engagement.
  • Support management of the digital shelf, ensuring best-in-class content, imagery, availability and search visibility.
  • Collaborate with content agencies and internal stakeholders to maintain high execution standards across all GPN brands.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organic search performance and share of shelf.

Retail Media & Performance Analytics

  • Partner with internal Retail Media teams and external agencies to support execution of Amazon advertising activity.
  • Track campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve ROAS and overall business outcomes.
  • Analyse Amazon Vendor Central, retail media and market data to generate actionable insights.
  • Share customer, shopper and category insights with the wider commercial organisation.

Forecasting & Supply Chain

  • Support demand forecasting processes to ensure strong availability and service levels.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to minimise stock issues and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting inputs and support delivery of customer and internal KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance and Revenue Growth Management teams to deliver customer plans.
  • Ensure alignment with wider Amazon strategies across Continental Europe and North America where relevant.
  • Stay informed on developments within Amazon, eCommerce and digital retail to identify emerging opportunities and best practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Experience working with Amazon in a commercial capacity or across other eCommerce channels would be desirable but not essential
