Key Account Manager – On Trade
Do you have a strong network across the premium On-Trade in Bath, Bristol and the South? Have you successfully won listings and grown spirits or premium drinks brands within Independent Free Trade? Are you looking for the opportunity to take real ownership of a territory and some genuinely exciting brands?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading global spirits business on the search for a Key Account Manager – On Trade to join their UK Commercial team.
Based around Bath or Bristol, this is a permanent, field-based role covering the South of England, taking ownership of a portfolio of premium and influential On-Trade accounts.
You’ll be responsible for growing distribution, winning house pours and cocktail listings, delivering standout activations and building relationships with some of the region’s most influential venues and operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of key On-Trade accounts across Bath, Bristol and the wider Southern territory
- Build profitable account plans that grow distribution, visibility, rate of sale and volume
- Win new listings, including house pours, cocktail placements and menu presence within flagship venues
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across premium and influencer IFT accounts
- Negotiate commercially strong customer agreements that deliver sustainable growth
- Bring brands to life through tastings, sampling, perfect serves, events and customer activations
- Build strong relationships with bartenders, operators, buyers and key decision-makers across the territory
- Work closely with Marketing and the wider Commercial team to deliver consistently strong execution
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and performance information through CRM and reporting tools

Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience within On-Trade sales, ideally within spirits or the wider premium drinks industry
- Good knowledge of the Bath, Bristol and Southern On-Trade, particularly Independent Free Trade
- Experience managing premium and influential hospitality accounts
- Proven ability to win new business, negotiate listings and commercially develop existing customers
- A strong understanding of how activations, visibility and menu presence translate into rate of sale
- Commercially minded and comfortable managing forecasts, customer investment and account performance
- Highly personable, proactive and credible within the trade
- Comfortable working autonomously across a busy field-based territory
- Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits
- Base salary up to £45,000
