About the role

As our Key Account Manager - South, you'll become the face of Riviera Travel across the south east of the UK developing strong partnerships with key travel agent accounts, driving sales growth and championing our exceptional collection of river cruises and escorted tours.

This is a highly visible, field-based role offering autonomy, variety and the chance to make a significant commercial impact.

You'll spend your time:

  • Building and strengthening relationships with key travel trade partners
  • Delivering engaging training sessions and product presentations
  • Driving revenue growth and increasing passenger numbers across your territory
  • Hosting customer events, educational visits and familiarisation trips
  • Identifying new business opportunities and maximising account potential
  • Monitoring competitor activity and sharing market insights
  • Promoting Riviera's trade tools, campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with our wider Sales and Trade Support teams

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an ambitious, energetic and relationship focused sales professional who enjoys being out in the field and making things happen.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently
  • Strong commercial awareness and a track record of driving results
  • Confidence in building long term client relationships
  • Experience within the travel industry would be advantageous, but is not essential
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events (with time off in lieu)
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region

  • £37,000 starting salary during your first 6 months
  • Rising to £38,110 after 6 months
  • Quarterly bonus scheme
