Key Account Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager based in United Kingdom.
This is a high-ownership opportunity to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of demand-side accounts across the global travel technology ecosystem.
You will work with fintechs, banks, super apps, travel platforms, and other businesses integrating API-driven travel solutions.
The role combines commercial account management, data analysis, technical adoption, and strategic problem-solving.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for account performance, including transaction volume, conversion, revenue growth, and retention.
Working autonomously, you will identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and coordinate internal teams to remove barriers to growth.
Your decisions will contribute directly to regional commercial strategy within a rapidly scaling technology business.
This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical account leader who enjoys measurable targets, complex challenges, and meaningful customer relationships.
Accountabilities
- Own a broad and varied portfolio of demand-side accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and taking end-to-end responsibility for their performance and growth.
- Drive measurable account outcomes across transaction volume, conversion, revenue, adoption, retention, and overall customer value.
- Monitor account performance and independently analyze complex data to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical, operational, supply, and commercial challenges that could prevent accounts from scaling successfully.
- Develop and execute account growth plans, including identifying upsell opportunities and leading commercial conversations through to successful closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams across supply, product, technology, and operations to resolve customer issues and ensure solutions align with account requirements.
- Identify potential churn risks early and develop practical action plans to improve customer satisfaction, adoption, and long-term engagement.
- Contribute customer insights and account-level intelligence to broader commercial strategy and help shape approaches for the regional market.
- Maintain accurate account information and activity within CRM systems while managing priorities independently and efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
