About Our Crew
Boats Group is the fastest-growing digital business in the recreational boating space. We are a talented team of technologists, creatives, marketers, sales experts, and customer advocates who spend each day pushing the boundaries of technology to make buying, selling, and renting boats easy. Every day, we work with a global inventory of more than 500,000 boats.
Our Barcelona office is home to Boats Group's European team, creating a dynamic and international workplace where technology, marketplaces, and collaboration come together.
As part of our continued growth, we are strengthening our Key Account Management team and looking for a Key Account Manager to join us in Barcelona or the UK.
Your Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will build and develop customer relationships, representing Boats Group and its products to senior levels of management and key thought leaders across our European markets. You will own a portfolio of enterprise-level accounts and be responsible for achieving growth and retention targets through clear, strategic goal-achievement plans, combining strong account management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
You will join a collaborative team working closely with Sales, Product, and our US counterparts to drive customer success across our European markets.

What You'll Do
Relationship & Account Management
- Build and develop relationships with enterprise-level accounts, effectively representing Boats Group and its products to a diverse range of clients, including senior management and key decision-makers
- Own a portfolio of key accounts across European markets, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously; exercise sound judgment and push back appropriately to ensure a positive customer experience is maintained
Product Expertise & Training
- Understand, distill, and communicate complex technical concepts and products to customers
- Present and train clients on Boats Group products and services
Growth & Retention
- Achieve and exceed growth and retention targets through clear goal-achievement plans
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Operations & Documentation
- Process all client requests and changes quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in Salesforce
What You Should Have
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management with a demonstrated ability to build and develop customer relationships
- Strong marketplace experience (cars, food delivery, real estate) or strong boating industry experience and connections
- A track record of managing enterprise-level accounts and driving strategic, measurable growth within them
- Based in Barcelona or the UK
- Proven presentation, training, project management, collaboration, and negotiation skills; ability to coordinate activity across different internal reporting structures and departments
- Innovative thinking with exceptional business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of autonomy and self-motivation with the ability to perform independently
