Key Account Manager – Convenience

At Radnor Hills Mineral Water Company, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading independent soft drinks and bottled water businesses. From household favourites to exciting new products, our brands are enjoyed by consumers across the country.

We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Key Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of the Convenience route to market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows the convenience channel inside out, understands what makes independent retailers and convenience operators tick, and has the drive to turn strong customer relationships into sustainable commercial growth. You’ll be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering profitable sales growth across a diverse and exciting customer base.

You’ll have a strong understanding of the convenience landscape — from retailer needs and consumer purchasing behaviour to emerging market opportunities — and use these insights to drive commercial growth and deliver results.

From independent convenience and symbol groups through to wholesalers, distributors and other key channel partners, you’ll build relationships at all levels and ensure Radnor Hills is a partner of choice.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and develop a portfolio of key convenience customers, delivering against ambitious sales, distribution and profitability targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and commercial contacts.
  • Develop and implement customer-specific account plans that deliver sustainable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to increase distribution, ranging, visibility and promotional execution across the convenience channel.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure excellent execution against agreed plans.
  • Work closely with wholesalers, distributors, symbol groups and independent retail partners.
  • Use customer, category and market data to identify opportunities and inform your commercial strategy.
  • Keep a close eye on competitor activity, market trends and changing consumer behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Category, Finance and Logistics to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Represent Radnor Hills at customer meetings, industry events and relevant trade shows.
  • Develop new business opportunities and continually look for ways to expand our presence within the convenience channel.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and CRM management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
