Key Account Manager – Diabetes - South Yorkshire
Our client is a family-owned group, present in 140 countries worldwide. They employ around 17,000 people worldwide and are one of Europe’s 20 largest producers of pharmaceutical specialities.
About the Role
The role of Key Account Manager in South Yorkshire ICB has two critical functions:
- Lead on the creation and implementation of territory business plans underpinned by well-rounded commercial awareness within the NHS to increase the sales of promoted products.
- Develop and build advocacy for their promoted portfolio and to be seen as a valued partner within the NHS.

Key Tasks
- Achieve agreed growth of targets of promoted portfolio and increase market share growth in designated territory.
- Build and execute business strategy for target HCPs and key stakeholders by identifying and building sustainable HCP relationships.
- Ensure advocacy and KOL development, optimal formulary & guideline positions, accelerated access to products and successful delivery of actions in territory business plan.
- Recognise and understand HCP optichannel preferences.
Personal Profile

- Science graduate/graduate calibre with at least five years’ pharmaceutical and NHS experience
- ABPI Qualified
- Proven track record of achievement and improved personal and business performance
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confident, quick thinking, responsive and solution oriented
- Strong work ethic and high levels of energy resilience, integrity, and honesty
