Key Account Manager – Dermatology – North England
Our client is an innovative Biotech company who have relentlessly followed the science to find solutions for patients with critical unmet medical needs.
Due to their expansion plans in the UK, they now seek talented Key Account Manager’s who will have responsibility for their launch into specialist dermatology.
About the Role
The KAM is responsible for driving sales growth, market access and advocacy to ensure the successful launch of their dermatology product across a defined territory.
The role focuses on identifying and engaging key clinical and access stakeholders to ensure eligible patients can benefit from their medicines, achieve territory and organizational goals whilst conducting themselves in full compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice, company and legal policies.

Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with Dermatologists, Specialist Nurses, Pharmacists, GPwERs and NHS decision-makers, understanding local treatment pathways and funding processes
- Develop and execute high quality territory and account business plans to maximise access for patients to products across dermatology centres, primary care and specialist networks
- Utilise an omni-channel strategy to leverage local engagement opportunities, mobilise and optimise GP referrals to speciality care and drive timely, appropriate patient identification and access to treatment
- Ensure favourable access environments by gaining local formulary inclusions and treatment pathway optimisations to maximise sales opportunities
Candidate Experience Required

- ABPI qualification (mandatory)
- Experienced in specialty pharmaceutical sales, ideally within dermatology preferable
- Proven record of Key Account Management and Market Access success
- Strong understanding of the NHS environment, pathways and healthcare structure
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High self-motivation with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strategic thinking and analytical capability
- Strong relationship management and influence
- Very strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in leveraging digital solutions
