Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

Ready to make a positive impact? We are glad to present this opportunity to join a great team at a highly innovative company as we are looking for a Key Account Manager. This is a role where you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and strengthening long-term partnerships with some of Alfa Laval's most important customers across Denmark and Sweden within the food and pharmaceutical industries.

You will serve as the customer's trusted advisor and main point of contact, coordinating closely with technical specialists, service teams, inside sales, and other stakeholders across the organization, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The customers that you will serve are mainly pharma customers.

Your primary focus will be:

  • Proactive sales - developing existing strategic accounts by understanding customer needs.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and following up leads.
  • Coordination/meeting optimization with internal and external stakeholders.

Success in this role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex customer organizations and decision-making processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
