ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for an ambitious Customer Relationship Manager to join a growing business within the vehicle fleet and rental sector.
Based in Surrey, you will take commercial ownership of a portfolio of customers across the South East and West Midlands, building strong relationships with Fleet Managers and key decision-makers while identifying opportunities to increase revenue, expand services, and strengthen long-term account value.
With a basic salary of up to £47,000 and an uncapped bonus structure offering realistic earning potential of £80,000+, this role is aimed at somebody who wants more than simply maintaining existing accounts.
We are looking for someone with genuine drive: commercially hungry, naturally proactive, and motivated by developing relationships, winning additional business, and becoming one of the strongest performers in the team.
You do not need to arrive knowing everything. The business is open to somebody who can be coached and developed, but you must bring the personality, ambition, and determination to push yourself, learn quickly, and strive to perform at the highest level.
The Role
As Customer Relationship Manager, you will manage customers from initial onboarding through to long-term account development.
A key part of the role is understanding the pressures faced by Fleet Managers. Vehicle availability, downtime, cost control, utilisation, service levels, and keeping drivers and operations moving all matter.
You will need to understand those challenges, ask the right questions, and position solutions that genuinely improve the customer's fleet operation.
Rather than simply reacting to requests, you will look ahead, identify gaps, and spot opportunities to introduce additional products or services relevant to the customer's operation.
That could include expanding vehicle requirements, identifying alternative fleet or rental solutions, improving utilisation, or introducing complementary services that create additional value for the customer while delivering profitable growth for the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
