Key Account Manager (Food Ingredients)

Location: Home-based (with regular travel across the UK)

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience) + company car + bonus

The Company

This is a global food ingredients business known for exceptional quality and relentless innovation. With a diverse portfolio of ingredients to offer, including ranges that are still new and have huge potential for additional revenue within the existing customer base, the company has long-standing, loyal customers which include the majority of the major players in the UK’s savoury manufacturing base, including meat, ready meal, food to go and snacking categories.

Why Join?

  • Career Growth: The company is (rightly) proud of its track record in promoting from within. If you perform, deliver results, and show ambition, there are clear, structured pathways for long-term career progression and development.
  • High-Impact, Major Accounts: You will be trusted to manage and grow at least one multi-million-pound strategic customer, where you’ll be given genuine influence and responsibility to make your own decisions – no micromanagement.
  • Innovation at Your Fingertips: You won't just be maintaining accounts; you’ll be empowered to leverage a diverse, advanced technology stack—selling market-leading solutions in close conjunction with R&D and marketing teams.
  • Flexibility & Support: There’s no expectation with having to show up at the office for your manager to see what you’re up to. This is a home-based working model where you plan your own diary and travel, putting the needs of your customers first.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
