Key Account Manager
Reading Permanent, Full Time - On-Site Based Role
ISS Facility Services UK have a new and exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to support the delivery of facilities management services to one of their Healthcare accounts in Reading, on a permanent basis.
It is essential that you have Hard FM/Technical experience and knowledge within a Healthcare environment, for this role.
Job Overview
This is an onsite role requiring a strong estates and technical background alongside proven experience managing key client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of facilities management services while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and operational performance.
The role would suit an experienced facilities management professional who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and can demonstrate excellent client and team management skills. Previous experience within healthcare is essential, with exposure to mental health facilities considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop key client relationships across the healthcare portfolio.
- Lead the delivery of facilities management services to agreed service standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
- Oversee operational performance and service delivery across the contract.
- Manage, support and develop onsite teams.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and healthcare requirements.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Respond effectively to changing business needs within a fast-paced environment.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a Key Account Manager or similar role.
- Strong estates and technical background within Facilities Management.
- Essential experience working within a healthcare environment.
- Mental health sector experience desirable but not essential.
- Proven client relationship management skills.
- Strong team leadership and people management experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, demanding environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements, with a commitment to onsite working.
