About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (f/m/d) to drive business growth and strengthen strategic customer relationships within the UK Aerospace & Defense market. The role requires strong business development and strategic account management skills, a solid understanding of the UK A&D industry, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Strategic and Key Aerospace & Defense accounts in the UK, driving sales across current and future product portfolios.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive profitable revenue growth and expand Gore's position within key customers.
- Build trusted relationships with customer leadership, executive decision-makers, technical influencers, and procurement stakeholders across the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities by leveraging market insights, customer priorities, and industry trends.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to successfully navigate complex sales cycles and secure long-term business growth.
- Leverage knowledge of the UK Aerospace & Defense market, including major OEMs, Tier suppliers, defense programs, procurement processes, and competitive dynamics, to strengthen market presence and identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by identifying, quantifying, and communicating the value Gore solutions provide to customers.
- Drive year-over-year profitable revenue growth while maintaining an accurate forecast and robust opportunity pipeline within Salesforce.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Application Engineers, Strategic Marketing, Channel Partners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and support business growth.
- Conduct strategic customer business reviews and account planning sessions to align customer objectives with Gore's long-term growth strategy.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of proven sales experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry, including successful engagement with major UK OEMs, Tier suppliers, defense integrators, and strategic customers.
- Understanding of key UK aerospace and defense programs, procurement environments, and industry dynamics is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic account management, new business development, and complex solution selling within a technical B2B environment.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue growth targets through business development, account expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account growth plans, identify new market opportunities, and successfully navigate complex sales cycles.
- Experience building trusted relationships with executive leadership, procurement organizations, engineering teams, and key customer influencers.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and planning skills, with a focus on delivering both profitable growth and an outstanding customer experience.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficient in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
- UK citizen, with the ability to travel up to 50% within the UK and EMEA as required; valid driving licence required.

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge and experience with cables, interconnect solutions, and components used in Aerospace & Defense applications.
- England-based, preferably located near key Aerospace & Defense industry hubs.
