Role Overview

Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships while driving business growth? As our new Key Account Manager Industrial Automation, you will combine strategic account management with proactive business development. This is not a traditional Key Account Manager role. Alongside managing strategic customer relationships, you will actively identify, develop and win new business opportunities and cover a wide variety of customers.

Location: Scottland, remote-based. Ideally located in a major industrial region (Glasgow or Edinburgh). Travel: Average 4 days per week including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle using Salesforce.
  • Develop territory growth plans.
  • Build strategic customer relationships
  • Conduct business reviews.
  • Lead pricing, contract and negotiation activities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in sales, key account management or business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
