Office-based: Kings Langley, Hertfordshire
Allsorted is recruiting two Key Account Managers to take responsibility for a portfolio of established national and multi-site retail accounts, and to drive further significant growth developing new business.
This is a senior, office-based role, suited to an experienced account manager with a strong understanding of the card & gift or book trade or associated retail sectors, and a track record of working directly with buying teams at head-office level.
The role sits within a developing key account team structure, where several team members collectively support and develop individual customers. The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively, taking ownership of their areas of responsibility while contributing to a joined-up, well-coordinated customer relationship.

You will manage key customer relationships, lead commercial discussions, and develop well-considered ranges across gift books and children’s books. The role requires a balance of commercial instinct, range sense, stick-to-it-ness, and disciplined follow-through.
Experience supplying department store groups, garden centre groups, visitor attraction retailers, challenging national accounts, and online retailers will be particularly relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing national key accounts as part of a wider account team
- Leading negotiations on ranges, pricing, and promotions
- Identifying and delivering growth opportunities
- Preparing and presenting clear, data-led proposals
- Working closely with internal colleagues to ensure consistent excellence in execution & service.
You Will Be
- An experienced Key Account Manager
- Commercially astute, organised, and credible with buyers
- Comfortable working in a team-based account structure
- Confident using Excel and PowerPoint
- Reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working at pace
