At Danfoss Climate Solutions, we are accelerating the transition to more sustainable heating and cooling technologies.
As a Key Account Manager, you will lead strategic OEM relationships across our HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration portfolio, driving profitable growth while helping customers achieve their energy-efficiency and sustainability goals.
Working closely with local and global teams, you will influence long-term business strategies, identify new growth opportunities, and strengthen Danfoss' position as a trusted industry partner.
The work location is flexible within the UK, and you can either work from your home office or from one of the Danfoss offices in the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Key Account Manager, you will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive Business Growth: Secure sustainable, profitable growth while expanding market share and strengthening partnerships.
- Shape Sales Strategy: Develop and execute tailored account plans, identifying new opportunities to enhance Danfoss’ presence.
- Engage Customers: Build strong, trust-based relationships with decision-makers across all levels, from senior leaders to technical teams.
- Deliver Results: Lead account development initiatives, manage opportunity pipelines, and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Collaborate Globally: Partner with cross-functional and international teams to ensure consistent strategies and exceptional customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a results-driven individual with a passion for building lasting customer relationships and driving business impact. Whether you are an experienced professional or an ambitious early-career talent, we welcome candidates who are eager to grow and contribute to Danfoss' vision.
- Education in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Proven track record in account management, sales, or business development within HVAC & Commercial Refrigeration, ideally with OEM focus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating and executing successful sales strategies in fast-paced markets.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in global, multicultural teams.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to balance short-term goals and long-term growth strategies.
