Job Description

As a key position in the Sourcing Department of an international e-commerce company, the Key Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of sales, profit and execution of brand initiatives across the whole business portfolio with a strong focus on new business development whilst maintaining and growing existing partnerships. The role is based at our London office.

Tasks

  • Responsible for the results of your accounts by setting up and delivering the annual planning, negotiating the assortment and purchase prices, logistic and contractual conditions.
  • Set up long-term development plans with main partners, forecasts for your sales, and define a strategy to reach your portfolio targets.
  • Proactively manage existing and new relationships to deliver the sales plan, in close contact with the brands, and have multiple supplier and prospect meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Work closely with the sales analyst and support of your sector for the analysis of the offers, the prices, and the actions to take on the slow movers and manage sales forecasting and pricing analysis, including reporting.
  • Develop your sector by actively prospecting new brands.
  • Follow the evolution of the markets, the competition, and the achievement of the global sales objectives.

Must Have Skills

  • With a higher education background such as a Business School, you have at least 5 to 6 years in a commercial function or proven professional experience as a buyer or Key Account Manager.
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious, and result-driven with a proven track record of managing and delivering commercial results but also customer and brand oriented.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with a high sense of negotiation, and hunting skills with experience of successful prospection.
  • Strong analytical skills, good level of excel are required for this position.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • French.
  • Experience in the Fashion sector/e-commerce.
