Key Account Manager – Haemophilia
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans across key NHS haemophilia centres.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with a broad range of NHS stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve patient pathways and service delivery, and develop account-specific strategies that support sustainable business growth.
Working closely with Medical, Marketing, Commercial and other cross-functional colleagues, you will influence complex healthcare systems and deliver customer-focused solutions, while maintaining a strong focus on improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans across priority NHS haemophilia accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, service managers and other key NHS stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities within patient pathways to support improved patient care and service delivery.
- Use market, account and customer insights to identify, prioritise and maximise opportunities.
- Develop tailored account strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with Medical, Marketing, Commercial and other cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Influence complex NHS decision-making processes and navigate multiple stakeholder groups.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Solid pharmaceutical Key Account Management experience.
- Experience within haemophilia, specialist care or secondary care settings.
- Proven experience influencing complex NHS stakeholders and decision-making processes.
- Strong strategic account planning capability, with evidence of successful execution.
- ABPI qualified or equivalent.
- Degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The Team
You will join an experienced and collaborative haemophilia field team of three, led by Steve Banks, Business Unit Lead – Haemophilia.

Salary & Benefits
- Bonus: up to 16%.
- Car allowance: £6,000 per annum.
- Holiday: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, plus 3.5 additional days over Christmas and a birthday day off.
