Key Account Manager Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established international drinks business as they continue to invest in and grow their UK On-Trade presence.

With an impressive portfolio across spirits and premium drinks, the business is looking for an ambitious Key Account Manager to develop its presence across the North of England.

Our client is an established international drinks business with a strong and diverse portfolio spanning premium spirits and well-known brands. With continued investment in the UK market, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and is focused on significantly strengthening its presence within the On-Trade. This is an entrepreneurial, commercially focused environment where individuals have genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible impact.

Description

  • Managing and developing key On-Trade accounts across the North
  • Building relationships with regional pub groups, brewers, wholesalers and key operators
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities
  • Increasing distribution, visibility and rate of sale across the portfolio
  • Leading customer negotiations and joint business planning
  • Developing promotional and activation plans that bring brands to life
  • Managing customer investment and delivering against commercial targets
  • Working closely with wider Sales and Marketing teams to accelerate growth

Profile

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience within On-Trade drinks, spirits, beer or FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of the Northern On-Trade market
  • Experience managing key or regional accounts
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • A commercial, entrepreneurial mindset
  • The confidence to open new doors and develop new business
  • Ideally, an established network across pub groups, wholesalers, brewers and On-Trade operators
